The first look at the upcoming ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ has hit the internet. The movie is expected in May of 2016.
The film is based on the popular mobile game ‘Angry Birds’.
‘Angry Birds’ was released back in 2009 from Finnish company Rovio Entertainment. It quickly became one of the most popular apps, and is now one of the best selling video game franchises of all time.
Several spin-offs and sequels of the game have been created, and it has inspired Books, Comic Books, Animated Series, Halloween Costumes, Original Music, Toys, Beverages, and even a Theme Park.
‘The Angry Birds’ movie will star Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBrde, Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Keegan-Michael Key, Hannibal Buress, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, and Peter Dinklage.
The teaser doesn’t reveal a lot of the plot of the film, other than there is an island of Angry Birds that gets invaded by Green Piggys.
