Adele is finally taking her talents to the silver screen. Even though she is in the middle of touring across the United States, she has filled a supposed two-week block that was her vacation time to film some scenes for an upcoming Hollywood blockbuster.
Adele has accepted a small role in The Death and Life of John F Donovan, directed by Xavier Dolan, who previously directed the music video for Adele’s “Hello.”
The movie features an incredible cast already, as Adele would be sharing screen time with fellow Oscar winner Natalie Portman, Susan Sarandon, Jessica Chastain, and Game of Thrones star, Kit Harrington.
Adele has no plans of turning acting into a full-time gig, and even wants to write a book whenever she has free time next. She told a crowd in Chicago, “I’d like to write a book. I mean, I’m not very great at stuff like that but I’d like to learn and try to write a book. Fiction. I don’t know what about yet.”
